Why do they make little girls' shorts so skimpy?!

The sizing is seriously ridiculous. Today Liana is wearing shorts that are a 2t and they fit her perfectly. I know part of that is the fluffy butt (cloth diapers), but even in sposies, there is no way these would have fit Zoey last summer. And Zoey has on hand-me-down shorts from her cousin that are a size 6! They are a little baggy, but dont look huge on her or anything. There is no way I would be putting them on a six year old. I hate that this is the way they make little girls' clothing. I know that I am not the only one that doesn't feel the need to put these teeny tiny shorts on my baby/toddler.

    I posted something similar on my fb the other day! I'm so glad I don't have girls after seeing the huge selection of DENIM PANTIES that pass as shorts nowadays....

    I'm so sorry! This would stress me out so bad if I had daughters.

    I completely agree!  And, I also have a hard time finding shorts that I would wear that are not too short.

    DD's Carter's shorts are soooo small. I bought her some Circo (Target) ones in size 9m and they fit wonderfully.
