Eating issues.....

I am at the point that I don't want to eat, because I don't want to feel like I have something lodged in my throat for hours. It doesn't matter if I drink water, milk, or just relax. Its there! It takes forever from what it seems to go away. I don't over eat, don't under eat, its just about anything I do eat that this happens! Ugh I so can't wait to get past this faze. Tongue Tied

Other then that I am at week 9 now. I heard the HB last week and still run it through my mind. I am emotional ball and my husband is quite sure what to do with me at night. I toss and turn so much it drives him bonkers. I am thinking separate beds for the summer might be in call. Only because I have been sleeping ontop of covers rather then under them. He says I am a blanket hog, and all I do is find them under my legs as I rest my left or right side. body pillow is what I need. Thought it was to early to start feeling so uncomfortable. We will see! :) Hope all is well with everyone else! :)

Re: Eating issues.....

  • I sometimes get that feeling when I've got a lot of sinus drainage and my throat is irritated.  Maybe try a safe decongestant.

  • It's been horrible to deal with. It doesn't matter what I eat or drink. I stay away from the spicy stuff anyways as I learned the hard way craving it, eating it, and regreting it. lol :)

I hope the doctor is able to help you out too. I am just hoping it passes with the morning sickness stages, as I haven't really had bad morning sickness. Just upset tummy, nausea, and then of course this. It shall pass soon I hope. Then back on the road to enjoying what I eat rather then not wanting to eat at all.

Thank you for the helpful note! I will look into it if it presists. :)

  • This could be totally off the mark, but the first thing that popped into my head was anxiety. If I'm feeling anxious about something, I often get a "something caught in my throat sensation" that won't go away until I calm myself down. Usually meditation or chewing on mint gum will help me. It could be that you were anxious one day, associated it with eating, and now every time you eat your body's freaking out a little bit about it? Who knows, with how wacky our bodies get during pregnancy!

Anyway, maybe I'm wrong, but I figured I'd throw it out there. Hope you're feeling better soon!
