sometimes i can't tell the difference.
Friday i came home from work and it was actually the coolest day of the week. My son had on short sleeve shirt and light pants. I noticed a small ring around his mouth and started questioning everything (nanny left already). A few mins later i changed his diaper and noticed blisters on the back of his legs (in the crease area) and then on his arms. (i get so annoyed w/ my nanny for not letting me know about them!)
Normally i would think it's a heat rash, but it was pretty cool out and he had a ring around his face. Is it safe to assume it's a food reaction?
the blisters are getting worse and worse. It looks like a heat rash but it wasn't hot. I'm seriously thinking of not allowing my son to ever go to another park again. They scare me now.
is this worth calling the allergist so she can look at his skin? My DH wants me to call her for every little thing and i feel like letting it go and just detox his body.

This. I would give some Benadryl and a bath and see how he does. Poor thing!

I would agree that the marks in the creases seem more like a heat rash, but I have never seen a rash that blisters on my daughter. Her creases get extremely red and itchy and bumpy.
The rings around the mouth seem like food allergy to me. I would call the allergist and ask at least.
that's exactly what it is. if it bumpy i automatically think it's blistering.
I made an appt but it's not until thursday. Ugh. it's like a constant what could it be? is it this? or that? is he now allergic to something new? what did he touch?
i have pics of it but of course my work blocks smugmug.
i did give him benadryl friday night and sunday. I havent tried the epsom salt bath. I feel like that would burn.. no? his skin is cracking so there are a ton of little open marks.
