help? It's making me nauseous just to write this. I've had a migraine for 3 days. I've been forbidden to take anything but tylenol during this cycle. I fudged and took excedrine migraine and pepsi but that's just taking the edge off of the pounding head and visual issues. I've gotten a few hours of breaks here and there but it just comes back. The nausea is killing me.
I'm sucking as a mom too and that really upsets me. All of this us due to starting estrogen, then getting put on birth control, then back on estrogen. It's all I can do to force myself to take the estrogen pills and not puke them back up. RE says keep taking tylenol. I'm at wits end. Being a mom comes first. What do I do?
Re: migraine day 3 - wwyd?
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
Ugh! I'm so sorry. I have been getting awful ones too for the past few weeks (I think mine are a combo of migraines and my high BP....). The only thing that is working for me is a can of coke (which I know you already drank your Pepsi....) and Tylenol with codeine. I would call and ask for a script. My OB is allowing me to take 2 every 6 hours as needed.
GL....I know how bad they suck.
I was throwing up from one two weekends ago....sucks!
Hang in there!
I would also ask for T3. My initial response would be to even go to an ER, but they would load you up with meds that you agreed to not take.
Ugh, This sucks!
I'm so sorry! I had migraines my entire pregnancy and it was awful (and part of the reason i'm not going to have another baby). I took fioricet while pregnant, maybe they'd let you take it? it helped some...also, try ice packs. i spent hours in bed with ice packs where the pain was...
i hope it gets better for you! you're so awesome for doing this!
um, you're not even close to xfer, are you? Forbid my arse, you're miserable. Miserable women with untreated migraines don't. get. pregnant.
Also, how about taking the estrace vaginally? Once I switched my oral prometrium to vag, I lost MOST if not all the side effect of it. Don't see why the estrace wouldn't be the same idea. or patches?
Don't sit and be miserable, get rid of the headaches, and get back on track.
Do it ;-)
