AW #2 and a thank you

We made it to a year w/out a drop of formula!! Thank you so much to the many of you who supported me in our BFing struggles. I BFed (and still am, trying to wean) with a shield for a freaking year!! I could not have done it w/out so many of yours support! In some of the more difficult hours I would think of your words of encouragement. I am so proud of myself for eBFing, it's not an easy goal, I never fault anyone for going to formula but it was a goal for me and I thank you for your support!

I'm down to 1 pump a day and hope to stop pumping w/n the next 2 weeks and then BF just morning and night and slowly drop those as well. We already introduced cow milk and over the next few weeks I plan to stop using bottles and have DS drink milk out of straw cups.

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

    That is AWESOME!!! I'm hoping to EBF as well and am absolutely terrified it won't work out - i'm determined ('stubborn' is what DH likes to call it ;-) but worried because i know how hard it can be. Seeing other women like you do it makes me believe that it will be OK.
