NSAIFR: I was involved in a hit and run today

Well my car was, i was in my work. I found out because a witness came into the store next to us and gave them information. When my store manager got off of work, she went into the other store to shop. They recognized her as one of our associates and asked i it was oe of our cars. She recognized it as mine and came to tell me. I filed a police report and gave the police the witness info. (the plate number and make/model of the vehicle)

I am happy to report that the police found her. She had expired plates so she was ticketed for that as well as leaving the scene of an accident. Thst is a misdomenor and so she has a court dste. She tried to deny it but she had paint from my car on hers and the plate/make/model matched. I am so glad for the witness taking the time to write it down and report it. Now her insurance is paying for it and not mine.

    Thank god she has insurance!  That would have been even worse.  So glad they caught her and you weren't in the car when it happened.

    i'm glad that the woman got caught and insurance will take care of it! that really sucks.

    i was in a hit and run accident (when we were driving) once. the car that hit us sped off with a little kid in the back seat, setting a GREAT example for him. =(

    It isn't horrible. Moderate damage to the passanger door and front quarter panel.
