Here is a link to my post from last week for the backstory: https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/53964076.aspx
For now the Dr thinks that I am still pregnant but doesn't know with what type of pregnancy or for how long. This has been my home board since my loss in December so I'm posting here but I'm so confused and don't know if I belong on TTCAL, MC/PL, or PGAL. None of them really seem to fit. I'm really sorry if anyone is offended that I'm posting here and if so please let me know.
On Wednesday I had another blood test. My HCG had gone from 4 to 175 in a week but my progesterone hadn't really changed. I don't know what that means but when my HCG was 4 my progesterone was at 2.5 - 3. These numbers were a week apart and halfway through the week I had a lot of heavy bleeding with clots.
The Dr called to tell me this on Friday. He doesn't know what is going on and thinks it might be a blighted ovum but said the pregnancy still isn't viable because of my progesterone. He said it is not a molar because of my numbers. He wants me to go have more blood work on Monday to make sure my numbers are dropping.
I am so confused and numb. Thinking back on how my doctor phrased things it seems like he doesn't have any idea what is going on and I only got anywhere near as much of an explaination as I did because I kept pressing him for more information.
My spotting stopped a few days ago and hasn't come back. I had some moderate cramps ealier today but they stopped. I can't believe I'm saying this but everytime I go the the bathroom I keep hoping to see red. I would relieved to know this is almost over.
I know I shouldn't but I can't stay away from Dr. google and even he doesn't have anything to tell me that is close to what's going on with me. I did find a misdiagnosed miscarriage site that I should probably stay away from because earlier it was giving me hope when I have been told that there isnt any. Please keep me in your T&P. Either way I just need to be resolved soon.
Re: Back from my very short break and an update, WARNING: possible PG ment
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
(((hugs))) I hope you get some answers soon.

Check out my chart. I had so much bleeding that I honestly thought it was a period. The bleeding was so bad that there was no question in my mind that I had started a new cycle. So don't just rely on the fact that you had significant bleeding to determine that you have definitely miscarried.
The only thing that you can do is to keep getting your betas tested. If the doctor isn't willing to continue to do that until you have gone back down to zero or there has been a type of pregnancy confirmed. Good luck, and know that you can also post on PGAL about this anytime you want. (((Hugs)))

Just wanted to say that I'm sorry you're going through this.
I had something similar happen with my first m/c. We'd been trying TTC, I was traveling overseas and I had what I thought was a full on period but ended up testing positive afterwards. Our midwife didn't draw any betas or P4 #'s and I was told it was implantation bleeding. I miscarried 6 days later.
Hugs to you and I hope for you some answers and a resolution soon.

Today I am pregnant & I love my baby!
Big, big hugs!! Please continue to post here, you're always such a great supporter and I hope we can support you as well as you travel this confusing and tough road. Lots of thoughts and prayers headed your way.
As a thought, could you possibly see a MFM? I love my OB (and she is highly regarded) but she didn't have any answers for us about our pregnancy, but our MFM did and it's been a big help to us. I only went to see the specialist at the urging of a friend who is in training to be a MFM (it's a long program following OB residency) after he reviewed our case. I hope you get some resolution soon.
