Pregnant and Met.....when did you stop???

What week pregnant did you stop met if you were on it? I'm almost 12 weeks (on Tuesdays) and I know I'm coming to an end but like with anything when your IF its so scary to stop a medicine haha. When did yall stop did anything change when you stopped it??? Thanks!!!

12 or 13 weeks with DS1 (can't remember which week exactly!)

14/15 weeks with DS2 and this PG

I stopped at 16 weeks, but I think I was later than most. I didn't notice any difference.

my docs have said to stay on it the whole time, to ward off GD.

as a reminder, I'm neither PCOS or diabetic. Maybe a bit insulin-resistant, at best. Just seems to help my egg quality and keep my sugars at a more level amount. I take 2000 a day. I know others have stayed on it too.

Hummmm I was told much earlier to get off of it. I see my OB on Tuesday and I will talk to him more about staying on it longer......thanks ladies!!

10 weeks, and my OB has all women who were on it start immediatly on a GD diet and 4 times a day blood sugar monitoring.

my RE told me to stop at 8 weeks (when he discharged me to my OB) but i still had some and titrated down until about 12w.

I stopped at 12 weeks. I think that is the most common answer I've read on here over the years.

I was on it my entire pregnancy. I ended up dropping down to 500mg 1x/day because I had horrible all day sickness and it made it worse. I went off after I delivered and will start back up when I stop nursing.
