With this whole chatzy business but I'm staying here. Because I'm not cool. And that's how I like it.
BUT I do have a question. Can I use frozen veggies to make Noelle's food? If yes, do I boil to cook or can i just steam and puree? If no, then dang because it seems to easy!
Do you like how I disguised a food question post?
Re: Okay I don't know whats going on....
I'm glad you're staying!
And we're not doing solids just yet, but from what I've read, you can definitely use frozen veggies to make the food, and I don't know why you couldn't steam it and then puree!
But, but, but....rules...and dues...and oh my.
Thanks for the clarification Hecky on the steaming
I'm going to piggy back my food question onto Guss' post.
What do you guys freeze your purees in? I have two different types of containers and need more ideas. I still don't have enough containers.
Guss, I have been buying frozen vegetables in ready-to-steam bags. They are awesome. Pop them in the microwave a few minutes and done! The ingredients are only the veggies themselves. No preservatives.
I freeze everything in ice cube trays which is so nice because 1 cube = 1 ounce. Once its frozen I put them into freezer ziplock bags with the date and what it is, then in the morning or the night before I take out what I want and thaw it in her little serving bowls (that have lids).
And I'm loving the ready to steam bag idea! Thank you!
I steam when I use frozen and chatzy is actually fun. It's fast and the chat is fun. It's for everyone, not just the cool kids or the hors.

Ashton look about 2/3 down - looks like you are fine to continue what you're doing, and starting next week I'll be doing it too
Whew, because those steam ready bags are awesome. I also do the veggies that are all together like green beans, peas, corn and carrots. That way he gets a good variety.
If your too cheap to buy ice cube trays (read: me) you can also just plop a tablespoon of food on wax paper like just like cookie dough on a cookie sheet until they freeze and then bag 'em up!
Yay!
Oh and I have no answer to the food question.
