Jumperoo Q- still using it?

Josie seems to not be interested in the jumperoo any longer? She just stands in it and watches, no bouncing. Has anyone gotten rid of theirs yet? I don't to pack it up for her to be able to use it later on.

Mine are far less enthralled by it lately.  It makes me sad because that was my ace-in-the-hole of fun things to do.

I did raise it up a bit and they got a little bouncy in it.  Still, nothing like it was at first.

  • Eli's not really interested in it either. He has never bounced in it, and he only likes the toys on it for about 5 minutes before he starts crying.

  • I've been thinking of packing it away lately as she doesn't really bounce or anything anymore, but I'm hesitant. The Jumper is a great place to drop her in to cook or run to the bathroom. Now that she can escape the bumbo we wouldn't have any other place for those things. I guess I'll have to get rid of it sooner or later.

the same for us too. I think I have used once in the past two months. He has hated since he started to crawl.

  • Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one. We have it on the highest setting and her toes barely reach but she just stands there and after 5 min cries to get picked up. She used to love to be in it all day.

She's not into the FP Laugh & Learn Home yet either. Grr. I guess I should just babyproof finally so she can follow me around the house.

  • Both of mine still love it at 8 months. We've got a Jolly Jumper on an A-frame that they love even more.

  • DS still likes his. He'll bounce in it and bat at the toys and play the little keyboard. I think I'd be ticked if he lost interest in it already, stupid thing cost $70.

The Nest/Bump sucks and won't let me change my location. I'm in Arkansas, not Florida.
  • Abigail still loves hers, we just recently had to move it up another setting because she was getting too big. She does the same thing as Josie though, where she will just stand in it for a while and watch us or the cat. She will also just stand and play with the toys. But if I come talk to her or encourage her to bounce she will go to town. She'll happily play in it for 15-30 minutes at a time.

DS used to love bouncing in the jumperoo.  He no longer likes to be in it, but he likes to stand next to it and play with the toys from the outside.  Sometimes he sits under it like it is a fort.

ETA:  I second that mobility killed his interest in being seated in it.  It was great for pulling to a standing position/early walking though.

  • A still loves his. The only time I can get things done around the house is when he's in there.

  • DD doesn't like being in it but she likes pulling up next to it and playing with the toys that way. She started to hate being trapped in it as soon as she started crawling.

W isn't interested very often anymore, but occasionally he still enjoys it. Last night he played in it for over 30 minutes while I unloaded the dish washer and made dinner. Just when I think I'm going to pack it up he surprises me.
