spitting up

My poor little guy spits up a TON at least 3 times in between each feeding.  We are on our fourth formula now, the emfamil spit up.  A couple weeks ago I was doing rice cereal once a day, his reflux medicine, and the emfamil spit up.  Everything was going great and then we went to our 4 mo and the dr. said no cereal til 6 mo, and we could stop the meds. He then started back up again.  I went ahead and started the meds again and he has been on for 4 days now.  The spittling up is still super bad, frustrated and confused!  Any suggestions??

    If it's not broken, don't fix it! Silly doctors. I would continue doing what you were doing. Also, RTF formulas work better for my son than powders. He threw up every bit of his first 2 feedings yesterday...we had just switched back to a free can of powder and he did the same thing with a can we used last month.

    u can not always go by what the dr says. my sisters dr. told her she could feed my niece cereal at 3 months.
