If your kids are spending the night at Gma and Gpa's (or anyone elses), do you continue any sleep training you are doing, or let them do what they need/want to in order to put them to sleep?
We've been working on a modified Sleep Lady Shuffle, but am thinking of telling Nana to just rock him to sleep - although I'm worried he won't sleep as well then.
Re: Do you sleep train at Gma's house?
In general, all bets are off while visiting grandparents.
ETA: Oh, and he probably won't sleep as well, but that is to be expected anytime they aren't in their own room/bed...even if you are there with them (vacation, etc.).

Baby Sister is coming soon!
We don't have grandma do any sort of consistent routine with B. If the childcare is free, I don't make requests unless it's a required rx... I will mention things like "he needs another cup of milk still" or "he fell asleep last night at 8:45", etc... This way she knows to offer milk or about what time to look for him to get tired, I don't want to tell my MIL what to do.
The only thing we did tell her is that he will fall asleep on his own when it finally did happen... she knows this, but there were times last summer she would still rock him. I don't have a problem with this- it's her way, and it still works. We're just super consistent for a few days after B's fallen asleep at her house with our routine and he falls back into it quickly now.
When anyone else has Nicholas during bedtime (whether its a sitter at our house or him spending the night w/ grammy) I let them do whatever they need to do to get him to bed. I usually tell them around what time we start trying to do bed time but I also tell them they can keep him up as late as they want if they try to put him down and its a big fail.
He is with MIL often enough and she keeps grandbabies over night often enough that he sleeps great for her (not sure what she does but I am sure it similar to what we do). When babysitters are here its hit or miss, sometimes he just stays up till like 9:30 and then falls asleep other times they are able to start bedtime at 7:30/8 like we do and he takes his bottle and goes to sleep. Whatever is easiest for them since our child care is always free :-)
