myrtle beach area day spa

Some friends and I are headed to Myrtle Beach this summer and are looking to spend some time in a day spa.  Can you suggest one in the area?  I hoping to find something non-touristy (I'm VERY willing to travel outside of the area if need be)  TIA

    There is a really awesome family owned spa in Florence (about an hour and a half outside of Myrtle Beach).  They really are a wonderful spa. They are located on Palmetto Street.  The owner, Ron, is a master masseuse and works wonders.  His wife does manicures and pedicures!  Ron is also a massage teacher and they have students available to do massages at a discounted price!!

    In MB I have been to Celestial Spa on Cloud 9.  It is very near Broadway at the Beach.  I've had regular massages there when on vacay and I love them.  I'm going to MB in September and plan on going there for a pregnancy massage.
