date night! wwyd?

Where would you eat out if you were childless for the night?  Somewhere between Mason and 5 Mile would be preferred destinations...

And if you were to see a movie (my choice), what would you see?  DH said he'd go see Bridesmaids with me if I wanted to... just not sure that's what I want to see yet.

Re: date night! wwyd?

  • Not sure about food, I don't frequent that area much.  But DH and I just saw Something Borrowed a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty good, DH even said it wasn't too bad as far as chick flicks go Big Smile

  • If you want to stay close to home, hit up MJ's on Main or 20Brix (both in Old Milford), then you could always go to Sugar Cupcakery for dessert (well, that's what I always do, anyway). We are also big fans of El Coyote and Foreign Exchange (both on Anderson), then you could hit up Graeter's for dessert (well, that's what I always do, anyway). Wink

I'm not much help on movies, since we haven't seen a new release in well over 2 years. Have fun!

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in this fact.

  • Bridesmaid was hilarious!
  • I agree with TTT about 20Brix - great date night locale.  Not sure if it's too far out of your range, but you could also try Ferrari's Little Italy in Madeira.  Or the Melting Pot on Montgomery Road?  Montgomery Inn? Carlo & Johnny?  Mmmm, now I'm hungry....  Fox & Hound on Mason-Montgomery Road has a nice outdoor patio.

Maybe check into if there are any outdoor concerts yet?

  • Bridesmaids is HILARIOUS. If you like SNL humor, or if you liked Mean Girls, you will love it.
