C-Section Heaing ?
Ok, since I had my C-section, I've had absolutely no problems. The cut healed over well, and didn't bother me at all.
The past few days, however, the scar is getting really red and is starting to itch. I haven't done anything different, and don't think I've done anything to aggravate it. Anyone else have this problem?
DH suggested it may be from the hair growing back in after they shaved it for the surgery. I'm scared to death to shave it myself (I'm a big girl, and its hard to see down there even when I'm not pregnant).

Is it hot where it's red??? Mine got red and hard and hot to the touch when it was infected... sometimes it can look great on the outside but still have infection under the surface. If what I've described sounds like yours, I'd call your doctor on Monday!! Good luck!! I hope it's just a hair!!
My scar turned more red and got a little more itchy several weeks pp. I think it is normal to some extent, but it could also be ingrown hairs. I wasn't shaved for surgery, but some hairs must have gotten turnen inwards when they sewed me up, and they got stuck trying to grow out. I am a horrible "picker" and tried to dig them out. Probably not the best plan.
