I know that most people have baby showers at home, however, do you all know of any places in the Orlando-Kissimmee-Celebration area that have clubhouses/halls/large rooms that can be rented out for this type of event? Help!
I also did not want my baby shower at home. We're having a co-ed party and so I knew the head count would almost double, and that's just way too many people in ones home. My shower is next weekend and we rented a pavilion/gazebo at Cypress Grove Park off of Holden Ave., in the SoDo area. The pavilion/gazebo holds up to 100 people and their park is just beautiful. They do also have a small house you can rent, and also a larger house which would be more like your clubhouse type setting you're looking for. If you haven't been to the park, I highly recommend you check it out. It's really nice.
Thanks so much for the advice! Sorry, my SN got changed because for some reason, I wrote the wrong e-mail address and was never able to get in to my bump account! I went to a wedding at Cypress Grove! It was really nice. Do they let you cater your own food by any chance? I will definitely look into it! Thanks for your help . Please let me know how ur bb shower goes this weekend!

You are very welcome! Yes, they definitely let you cater your own food. I think that is the only option as they provide the space only. The baby shower is a week from tomorrow, and I will definitely let you know how it goes. Since we rented the outside pavillion/gazebo, I'm hoping for nice weather. I can deal with a little coolness, but let's keep the rain away ;o)
I am going to keep my fingers crossed and send up a little prayer that good weather comes your way! Rain is always a party pooper, especially for an outside event . Think positive!
Thanks again for the feedback! I look forward to hearing from you soon !

Hello!
I saw you had a baby shower almost 4 years ago at Cypress Grove Estate House.
How was it, did they let you bring in your food, and was it expensive for your head count. I'm expecting around the same amount of guest.
Thank you!
Try looking into renting a "community room" from one of the local cities. I went to a baby shower at one in Winter Park a few years ago and it was nice. Most of the city websites will have info on rental spaces that are available. Good luck!
Re: Baby Shower locations?
Awesome! I am so excited to hear about this!
