I'm not worried about what to take on the flight for my DS. I figured double amount of formula(just in case), plenty of diaper and wipes, a couple changes of clothes( depending on whether the flight is cold or a little warm, tylenol, gas drop, receiving blanket and a couple toys he seems to like. If anyone can think of anything else please let me know.
What I'm concerned about is taking off and landing and his ears.. Should I just give him a paci or bottle and he should be fine?! Or is there something else I should do?
TIA
Sorry for poor formatting, I'm on my phone!
Re: flying(i know ANOTHER post)
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
We just flew back and forth with our daughter -she was 7 weeks going, 9 coming home. She was excellent, which we didn't expect but THANK GOD.
Yes, try to feed him when the plane is taking off and descending, but that's not always easy to time since babies eat when they want. So then have him suck on something, a pacifier, finger, whatever, if eating isn't an option.
It will be fine! I honestly believe now that the droning sound of an airplane works wonders. It's sort of like a low vacuum and provides great white noise for putting babies to sleep. We were flying home during our babie's fussy time, and she wasn't fussy at all.
