Sharp pains in vaginal area

I am almost 37 weeks pregnant and I keep having really sharp pains below my pubic bone. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what is causing it?

see lightning crotch

its fabulous isn't it... I asked my doctor about it yesterday and she said it is normal in the 3rd tri.

I concur! It's the infamous lightning crotch! Normal;) I have had it too.

This, I had mine starting about 34 weeks, I call them "lightening bolts of death" LOL, totally normal.

Yep...normal. Just asked my Dr. the other day. They suck though because sometimes they take my breath away.
