I felt totally fine after...it was uncomfortable during but that's about it.

  • I have had 2.   The first (pre-baby), was awful.   I felt a little bit of residual pain afterwards, but I went back to work and functioned just fine.

The second (post-baby), was a walk in the park.   Had I not been watching the ultrasound screen, I wouldn't have known it was happening.   The only PITA thing afterwards was leaking out all the fluid.

  • Totally fine.  It wasn't the least bit uncomfortable or painful for me.  No cramping or anything.  I didn't even really know she had done anything.

  • I had one two days ago-my second one. My first was much easier from what I remember but it still wasn't badded. Just cramped a bit as the saline was going in.....

  • I've had a HSG and a SHG. I was fine after both of them. The SHG was much much much easier on me.

  • Had my pstpartum one today - the first one was easier but the worst part was the speculum - no worse than a pap

  •  I've had one and it didn't hurt during or after.  Piece of cake!  Good luck!

  • LIke nothing had happened
  • I've had 2, each before TTC for each kid. Peace of cake in comparison to the HSG. A little uncomfortable during, but perfectly fine within minutes, ok to drive, no pain following.
  • My HSG before Kira was my most painful experience ever to that point.

My SHG before Elena was like a wet ultrasound. :)

    Good luck!

  • my 1st, I had significant cramping, painful enough to double me over for a few hours. (and remember, I had a natural csection, so I can handle pain!!) the second was minor cramping
