Northern California Babies

Well, I WAS holding it together.

DH's grandmother (already declining with alzheimers/dimentia) fell and shattered the ball joint of her hip.  If she wasn't 92, she'd be an excellent candidate for a minimum $10K hip replacement.  Considering her decline already, the family has opted to not pursue the surgery, totally understand, just a sucky sitch.

My grandmother is rapidly loosing weight and complaining of back pain.  She's a Colon Cancer survivor, but we all suspect it's back and stronger than she.  :(

A close family friend, like a serrogate grandmother, travels the world and is currently bouncing between Bangkok and India because she discovered a breast lump and had an agressive but partial mastetcomy.  All tests lead to cancer, but as is her style, she's as graceful as ever  -  just millions of miles away & all I want to do is hug her.

My Mom is in severe pain due to work related injury and no one in the "system" seems to be able to help her.  This is ongoing for what seems like 10 years now.

All of this on top of the chaos that is my little neuclear family I just cannot take it!
