Forgive me if I sound bitter, but why are people always wanting to hold/touch babies?  I understand they are cute, and are truly a blessing, but why do people always want to hold them.. even complete strangers.

We were at a birthday party over the weekend and some random lady wanted to hold my LO.. why? You have 3 kids of your own. LOL

 Sorry.. I had to vent.  I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way. LOL

    I hate when they come put their hands all over DD.  I don't know what germs you have!

    I hate when they touch DS's hands. He puts those in his mouth constantly and that's not where I want your germs. I don't understand the need for strangers to be all over babies, but if I know the person then I like to hold/play with their baby. They're just irresistible!

    I was at the grocery store a couple weeks ago and was using the self check out.  There were 2 teenage girls that came up behind me to wait in line and they went up to my DS and started to touch him and everything. I was so angry. I almost chewed them out.  I just gave them a look like get away from him.  Why would you go up to complete strangers and touch their child. I am crazy about germs. I don't want anyone to touch him unless I say it's ok.  I would never do that to anyone's child nor have I ever.

    Have you watched people's faces when they hold the baby?  It is like spreading love and sunshine.  Makes people so happy.  I agree about the hands though...

    I'm not a huge fan of when family members just walk right up and expect to just take C from me...not cool.
