January 2011 Moms

We took A to the pool

She had fun! She wouldn't smile for the camera, but there were definitely smiles happening.

Re: We took A to the pool

  • I wasnt going to post even though your LO is absolutly adorable. Then I decided I want gonna be one of those people. (View and leave)

Your LO is adorable! I looks like she liked it. We still have to get Jay a floaty for the pool. I cant wait to take him swimming again, he has only gone once.

In the second picture it looks like she's thinking "This is the life!"

Thank you! She especially liked it when I spun her around in the float, and when I pushed her really fast towards daddy. When I had her out of the float, she was on her belly with just her head out of the water and she started kicking her legs like she already knew how to swim.

If you're still deciding on a float, this is the one we have:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HAB296

The package says age 1-2 years, but there is a max of 25 lbs. DD is already 16 lbs, I can't imagine her fitting in there 1.5 years from now.

It's a private pool at our apartment. At 2pm on a Thursday :p On the weekend it's packed - people that don't live here sneak in. We made sure to go before everyone got off of work.

It is! I tried on my pre-pregnancy bikinis and the sight was horrendous. I went to Target this morning with all intentions of buying a one-piece, but they all sucked. I'm not totally thrilled with my body right now, but it's probably going to look this way most of the summer so I figured I better work with what I have.

That sounds like alot of fun!! Jay wasnt that interested in the water when we took him, it was an indoor pool but I dont think it was warm enough. I hope we have that much fun next time.

  • Cute!  Looks like you had fun!
