Just wanted to say how happy I am to see you 'round these parts! I miss you! How are things going? What new and exciting things is your big boy up to these days?

Hey Lady!! Thanks!! Hmmm... what's new... he's keeping us on our toes, for sure. This weekend he got a new box of trains (and tracks) and he kept saying over and over "Mama sit" wanting me to play with him. Adorable and exhausting at the same time! He isn't the "best" talker, but he's been repeating everything we say - very cute!!
How about you? What's new with K?

Aww cute! The repetition stage is important - we talked about that in one of my classes. So good for him! I love that they are now old enough to have opinions and preferences about things. Like, who do you think you are anyway, a real person?? Although Kyva has been bossing us around like nobody's business lately. We're having to remind her constantly that she needs to ask nicely if she wants something. And then her loud, bossy voice becomes a tiny quiet one and she says "Mama, I have (milk or whatever) please?" It melts my heart.
We're hopefully moving at the end of the month and after we get settled, we really need to get rid of the paci, start potty training and move her to a big girl bed. But I figure one major transition at a time...first, we deal with the move.

Aw - love the sweet quiet voice. Yeah, we are getting a lot of bossy right now too.
GOOD luck with the move!! Don't put too much pressure on yourself for the rest of it!! All in good time.
