Diaper Donations

For one of my showers people were asked to bring diapers, so I have a crap load. I've heard that BRU will exchange unopened packs for different sizes, but I have some off brands(walgreens, wal-mart) that I just don't like. Does anyone know anywhere that will take opened bags of diapers?

I don't know how prevalent they are on your side of the bridge, but I would definitely say a homeless shelter or a battered women's shelter would definitely take them.

You might check with a local church. My family's parish has a pregnancy center that takes all sorts of donations.

They take almost anything, new or used.

I gave them open packs of diapers and as long as they were sealed or contained with tape it was NBD.

women's shelter will take them, that is were I took them them when I got a bunch - I cloth diapered so I didn't need huge packs, but I did use a few out of each pack

I freecycled some diapers we got in the form of a diaper cake.

I have some and I dropped them off at a womens shelter in Baltimore City. Felt good to know I was helping someone.
