Does your baby get meat/protien at lunch time and dinner time? I had been giving Ry just fruit or veggies at lunch and then an actual meal at dinner time.
Is it time to start giving him some protien at lunch too?

D gets yogurt once a day at lunch. I've only given him meat once (chicken). I do plan to start giving him meat more frequently. I do give chickpeas a lot. He loves them!
The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...

We make sure that weird skin is off of them and then we smash them a little and hand feed him. He can't pick them up himself and they break apart.
You could easily puree them into a hummus, too. I figure it's a good way to get protein, fiber, etc. in him.

Excellent idea, Chef Simone! I'll be trying this Saturday!

I've been giving her ground chicken/meat once a day. Either lunch or dinner, let's say if she has it for lunch I'll make sure she gets veggie/fruit with a little cereal at dinner.

Remy is going to be trying some chicken on his own tonight. But we have been doing pureed turkey & sweet potatoes for dinner often. If he has that, it's only once a day.
We only do meat at dinner. Sometimes not even. This last time I went to the store to buy jarred food and the store I went to didn't have the meat/veggie combos, so he has been having mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese for dinner lately.
Re: Solid food feeders-yet another question
No meat yet.
We're trying fish next week.
