I am bored too! I am actually putting on some makeup to go out into the world in a minute I guess I am just going to shop around and kill some time until MH gets home.

I don't need anything nor do I need to just go spend $$ but I need to get out of the house. I want to find someplace to get a reflexology massage to get the ball rolling!!

ugh. I tried reflexology. It just made my feet hurt later on. I guess because they re swollen and over stretched from extra weight. GL

I also did a pedicure and he was really ruff-- nothing.

I just started a baby photo book on snapfish, im putting all my sonogram photos and HDBD photos in the first few pages and then once baby comes ill add him and keep adding until its been at least 6 months?.. lame

Ugh! I'm right there w/u, def bored out of my mind too..I get induced tomorrow & today seems like the longest day ever. Thinking about going out get me some nice greasy 5 guys food & a snow ball...I haven't splurged like that in a while, so what times better then the present I guess. Also thinking of getting my hair trimmed, haven't done that in a few months. I got a pedicure last week, it was relaxing, but obviously it brought no baby,lol. Good luck & hopefully we'll find something to do while we're waiting for these late baby's to arrive

Still waiting too! I have been going to work though, so it has been keeping me busy. Today I cut out a little early because I have an appointment at 4 - hopefully my 0% dilation is now progressed to SOMETHING from last week!! LOL. Either that or they give me an induction date. This little guy is making himself cozy in the belly!! Hope you all are staying cool

Well I just got back from my 10.30am doctor's appointment (east coast). Being so overdue, I was sure she'd send me to be induced or schedule it for tomorrow.. or something! Nope - she left for vacation this afternoon and will be back Saturday night. So she sent me for a Biophysical Profile to check baby's size and AF levels and then for a NST. Baby's looking good (est 8lb 3oz) and healthy, fluid levels are good, heart rate and movement are good and I'm having random contractions. So... doc goes on her vacation and I'm told to just wait a little longer. If she remembers, she'll call me on Sunday. If she forgets, I'll call her on Monday. If there is any sort of mercy in this world, I will have the baby long before the doc gets back from her vacation.

So - I guess today I'll go get a pedicure. And tonight - spicy food, walking and sex.

I may be getting desperate enough for castor oil. Maybe.

OMG! I sooo feel for you, I just reached the 41 wk mark & I'm so ready. What is ur doc thinking, does she have no mercy, I may have demanded an induction, but yet I'm not sure how you feel about being induced. At first I wasn't so sure if I wanted to go that route & asked the doc to wait at least a wk until we talked about it. At my 40 wk appt he went on vacation afterwards too & sched me to have 2 NST while he was gone, which revealed nothing out of the ordinary, baby's as healthy as can be. I was 0 cm & about 60% effaced at that appt. So at my 41 wk appt yesterday, he suggested scheduling an induction, which is for tomorrow. I was 1 cm dilated & 80% effaced at that point. I was kinda let down though, cause I'm not going into labor naturally on my own, but I've come to terms with it, & I understand that everything doesn't always go as planned. By the time I'm induced tomorrow I'll be 8 days late, so I don't think I'm jumping the gun, I've given it a good run I guess. I'm a little nervous & anxious about it though. You should totally go pamper yourself, your such a trooper. I hope baby has mercy for you & comes soon. Good luck!

I am still working (thankfully I work from home), but work has been slow these past couple of weeks because I wrapped up a lot of my projects in preparation for maternity leave.

I am ready to be finished with work for a little while and am SO ready to have this baby!

Thanks! Yeah - some mercy would be nice. LOL. I was hoping to avoid an induction and go all natural, but by this point I had come to terms with being induced. So when the doctor told me to wait a little longer, I think it kinda knocked me off balance. I already came to terms with an induction (last week, she was pushing it... this week, she tells me to wait more!). Now I need to hold off on that train of thinking.

Anyway - going to listen to my Hypnobabies "Come OUT, Baby" track now. Maybe the baby will listen to that since he doesn't listen to his mama!

I am still leery of induction but even if I wanted to there is little that can be done other than attempting to ripen my cervix because I am 0% dilated. I can't have my membranes stripped or anything to attempt to move things along. My cervix really likes to keep babies in, which I suppose is a good thing... someone tell it it can relax now

Uggh - still waiting. Doctors appointment yesterday and still at 0% dilation. Fun fun. NST scheduled for tomorrow, induction scheduled for Tuesday night. I think instead of giving you a due date, they need to give you a "due range" so you aren't so disappointed that they take so long to bake!

And there needs to be some sort of handout to give to family and friends. Because no matter how many times I tell people "baby can come 2 weeks before, 2 weeks after... really any time he wants", I still get the "but you're past your due date!" (insert look of pure and total shock). Yes. I am. He is not a term paper that has a due date and MUST be handed in on time. He is a baby who apparently likes my uterus. Now STFU and leave me alone - this is MUCH more frustrating for me than it is for you. /vent
