Online sitter site

Has anyone used an online sitter site for LO's and felt comfortable with it? My DH and I are looking for someone to babysit our 10 yr old and almost 2 yr old. My DH's parents are deceased and my parents won't watch the kiddos unless I ask and they live an hour away from us. Therefore I wanted to know if anyone has had good experience with doing this.

    I used sitter city and Love my sitter we only use her occasionally and she gave me references of two families she work for full time for several years.  

    She is the only one of the 4 I contacted on the site that responded back however.. but shes great :)

    I have used Sittercity.com as well and had great results.  I interviewed 4 girls to be my temporary nanny.  I loved the one I chose!

    I use sittercity. I found an awesome babysitter there that I have been using for 1.5yr now.  I'm interviewing a new babysitter from that site tomorrow so we have a back up.
