3 weeks postpartum...went for a 3 mile run....

and feel GREAT!  It was hard, I went slow, and I think I was more "falling forward and catching myself with my feet" instead of "running", so now I am going to see if I have anymore pp bleeding.  It felt good to get my pulse up and get out of the house.  

Here's to making time for ourselves to EXERCISE!!

  • Well Done!  Slow and steady is the best plan from what I have heard.  Ease into it and you will be back to your old self in no time.  I am 21 weeks pregnant and am keeping up with a slower version of running.  Did you run during your pregnancy?

  • I ran until I was about 25 weeks, and then switched to run/walk until about 36 weeks, and then just walking the last 4.  I definitely think it helped me recover quickly!  Good luck!
