My twin has one, and first I was all, "I can't believe she bought that!" And after seeing her son munch on it like crazy... I might spend the $18 on i at Geppetto's.
I too am a believer. The girls on 3-6 months convinced me. I couldn't believe I spent that much on a squeak toy, but SO worth it!
I just ordered one and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. I kept hearing how great it was on the 3-6 too. DH thought it was a dog toy lol. For as much as that broad costs, DD better like it! lol
I had it on my registry and ended up with two- saaaweeet! I'm keeping both b/c as you can see my dogs are obsessed. It's only a matter of time before they chop it up. At 3.5 months, DS has zero interest yet, but I've been trying everyday.
I was really skeptical and didn't want to spend that much, but after two weeks or crazy teething pain I would have bought anything to help. So, I bought it and Hannah loves it. I think it's because it's easy for her to grasp. The other teething toys are so hard for her to get a grip and then bring it to her mouth.
I still think it looks like a dog toy. And my pugs are pretty convinced as well.
I really hesitate to buy one because it will inevitably become a toy for the pit bull, and I'm pretty sure he'd have its head off in 3.5 seconds... I was going to before DD was born but the thought of an $18 toy being eaten... I am still hesitating.
Dee,
Mommy to: Sofia, born 2/9/11, as well as three dogs, two cats and a multitude of chinchillas.
This is something I?ll swear too - now! Although I didn?t buy one SIL gave me one when Eirinn was just over two months old - telling me to keep it handy for when she starts teething; chewing on her little hands like she?s going to eat then up. I didn?t believe her but she made a believer of me.
So I totally agree this is worth having at any price - it's priceless!
I don?t know if you?ve tried this when you have a chance to get it away from LO but rinse it off then dry well. Now place in the frig for about 15-30 minutes so it gets cold then give it back especially if their teething. It works wonders around here. GL! That is in getting it away from your LO to begin with! You?ll see what I mean when you take it away from them so again GL!
