37 and first pregnancy

Hi everyone,

This is a great forum for us first-timers who are full of questions and concerns but are too early on to have told many people about the pregnancy.

I am 37 and about 4 wks preg with my first child. At first I was a little queasy but that seems to have subsided unless I am hungry. My mom was really sick with all 3 pregnancies so I kind of had myself prepared for also being sick. Now that I'm not I find it a little disconcerting and it makes me nervous. I hope everything is ok.

 I really enjoy reading everyone's posts and look forward to adding my voice (and questions!) in the coming months.

    Welcome and congratulations.  There is another board you may want to check out.   The link to "Pregnant After 35" is in the column to the left.

    Welcome!  I am 37 and this is my first baby (3rd pregnancy).  Don't get your hopes up about morning sickness yet.  I was perfectly fine until about 7 weeks and then it was puke-city until week 14 or so.  Definitely come on over to the over 35 board.  There's a great bunch of ladies there.
