will only sttn in carseats...now what???

so at 3-4 months my dr recommended letting them sleep in their carseats for their reflux issues, at 6-7 months we tried transitioning to the crib and they wouldn't sleep for more than an hour at a time, so we went back to carseats. now at 10 months we tried to go to cribs again and the same thing keeps happening....any suggestions??? i really would like them to sleep in their cribs by the time they are one!!!! thanks girls...

    Raising cribs with wedges? Are they swaddled? I'm guessing they like that snug feeling so anything u can do to recreate that I can't remember the name but there are these body suits that's supposed to be a good transition from a swaddle and it still creates that snug feel for the baby. Are they going down drowsy but awake or asleep? Can they self soothe?

    At 10 months, I would probably let them CIO. But that's the twin momma in me talking. You've got a head on me. I used Ferber's method for naps at 6 months and it worked really well. My guys were previously only napping swaddled tight in swings. Took 2 days and we haven't looked back since. Good luck with whatever you do!

    One of mine napped in his swing (while swinging) up until 9 months.  On his 9 month birthday I stopped cold turkey started putting him in his crib.  I let him CIO for one nap, and by the next nap he cried for 5 mins or less.  By the third day he was sleeping in his crib just fine.  I know the situation is not exactly the same, but you might just have to pick a date, and start using the crib.  One of the things that helped us is our nap and bedtime routine.  We always read stories in the nursery before naps and bedtime to sort of settle down.  (They usually just crawl all over me during story time).  So I think they started to associate the story time with nap and bed time and it has really helped us.  Good luck.     And don't feel bad that they are still sleeping in their car seats.  If that is what has been working for you, than thats what you needed to do.
