Horrible headaches?

I've been getting bad headaches, seems to congregate on the top of my head. Anyone else? Should I be concerned? I thought it was that I've cut back on caffeine, but coffee doesn't really help it. I've had Tylenol here and there and doesn't really help either. Plus, I don't want to be taking it everyday, anyway. My next appt isn't until the 22nd, but I didn't know if this is enough cause for concern to try to go in sooner? Or if it's just another "perk" of pregnancy. Thanks, ladies.

I hear you, I still have the same headache that I went to bed with last night. I think its the lack of caffeine and I asked my doc at my last appt about it. She agreed and said take 2 extra strength tylenol with a cup of coffee or half caff. She didn't seem concerned and said it was very common. I have another appt today so I'll be bringing it up again just to make sure.

I had horrible headaches as well around 10-15 weeks. My doctor said Tylenol was ok but thats it. I feel your pain, it almost felt like sinus headaches.

Try tylenol and caffeine like pps said. Unfortunately the only migraine pill I've found that helps me isn't approved for pregnancy. When I get a bad one I pop a couple tylenol, drink caffeine, and take a dose of benedryl. It doesn't get rid of the migraine but it at least allows me to sleep it off.

I have a really bad headache at least once a week. It's awful. Yesterday nothing worked. I took Tylenol, drank a lot of water (my doctor said part of the reason I'm getting them may be dehydration), slept, had caffeine, had more Tylenol...it didn't go away until I woke up this morning. Usually one Tylenol and a sip or two of caffeine knocks it out.

I feel for you!! I have an unbearable headache almost everyday, and tylenol doesn't really work. Doctor said it's normal and unfortunately it just sucks! The caffeine sometimes helps...hang in there!

I think it's ironic because in the past week or so, there have been so many posts about headaches. I too get them frequently. I used to get migraines when I was on a particular medication-actually I would get them if I missed my dose. Since going off that medication, I still feel the headache in the same area-right around my left eye, but not nearly as often or as intense. Since being pregnant, especially in my 2nd trimester, I have been dealing with a mild, but resistant headache for about a week. I guess the hormones trigger them.My doctor, who is pretty conservative, said tylenol regular strength or even extra strength and excedrin migraine if it is bad. I was a little surprised that she said excedrin migraine.Let's all hope that this symptom passes as we move on in our pregnancies! Then we'll all be posting about sciatic pain or something! Big Smile
