Yes, I did PGD for CF. We used Genesis Genetics and it cost $3,750 for the first cycle, then $2,750 for any cycles after that. And my RE cost an extra $1,500 to do the biopsies. It takes a couple months for Genesis (or whoever you use) to make the probes for you, so I'd recommend starting that process early so you're not stuck waiting on them to cycle. They'll send you a kit to get your DNA to make the probes.
As far as the timeline, they biopsy 1 cell from each embryo on day 3, send them to Genesis who tests them on day 4, then on the morning of day 5 they send the PGD report to your RE so you can still do a 5 day transfer of the non-affected embryos. So as long as your embryo quality is good enough that you make it to a 5 day transfer, then not much changes timewise.
