How did you stop? My supply is down the drain anyway, and I haven't been able to keep up with DS so he's been getting half formula and half breastmilk for the past month now. I just can't do it anymore. He gets less and less breastmilk each day. I'm ready to have my boobs and my sanity back. I never breastfed, just EP'd. Everything I've read says to gradually stop. When you go down to pumping once per day when do you decide to just stop? Did anyone go cold turkey and not have problems? I know everyone is different. I just am not sure of the best way to do this.

    I stopped cold turkey pretty much, had one time they hurt and I just hand expressed until there was no more pain. I figured it was so easy because my supply sucked anyways! Good Luck

    My supply really was horrible... So I stopped cold turkey... I had no pain, no swelling.... It was like I never even produced milk...

    My supply was really low.  I took about a week to stop.  I never had any pain.  I just started skipping pumpings.

    Cold turkey here too. But mine was basically gone anyways.
