Rec your sling/carrier please!

My husband has a Baby Bjorn but I want something I can use that is comfy and easy and under/around $100.

What do you use and love?

Thanks!

  • I love Our Beco butterfly 2. I'm able to get her in and out pretty easily and she falls asleep right away! And it's pretty too :-)

  • I would try and get somewhere that you can try them out. I had a Beco Butterfly II and didn't like it. It never sat right on me. I love my Ergo. My best friend had the opposite experience.

For now, a Moby is my favorite. I have a few MeiTai's, a Poedaegi, and other assorted carriers, I am an enthusiast :-)

  • To piggyback on OP's post - are any carriers better in the heat than others?  I have a moby and have been playing around with it (no baby to try it out with yet!), but it seems like it would become stifling hot in the South Florida summer for me and probably for the baby, too.  It's just a lot of fabric to have wrapped around myself... yet, I like how secure it seems like it would be.

Currently... Pregnant with mo/di BOY TWINS!  Due September 15.  Latest induction will be 37w.
  • I just put on my Moby for the first time a bit ago.  DD is sleeping peacefully and my hands are free, so I would recommend it so far!  I just watched the instructional video on the Moby website and got her in there nicely on the first try.  I think it might be annoying to take her in and out to BF, but we shall see.

  • I love my K'tan. Same concept as the Moby, but no fabric to tie....my little guy has been crashed out in it for a couple of hours now Wink

  • I have a K'tan Breeze (half mesh/half cotton). I had him in it at a baseball game over the weekend and he didn't seem too hot so I guess it's good for the heat. I like it better than the moby- easier to get on :) Bought it for $54.

  • I have an Ergo Sport, but I haven't even tried it yet (I got it more for when Owen is bigger). For now, I really like my Infantino Wrap and Tie - and it's only $30.

This exactly. I loooove my moby and I watched the youtube video so that I could figure out how to put the thing on.

  • I just bought a Moby and I absolutely love it. LO likes it too, he falls asleep instantly!
