Where are you with your planning? Have you scheduled/had any of your classes and/or hospital tours yet? What about your showers? How is everyone feeling? Nursery progress? :)

We have our first class tonight (birthing) as well as our 2nd (and final) hospital tour.  My shower is next weekend (can't wait and can't believe it's all ready almost here!). Our nursery is just about done, just waiting for our glider to come in. I am still feeling pretty good too ::knocks on wood:: though definitely getting a little bit more tired and uncomfortable.. but it's not bad at all.....yet. ;)

    I wish I could plan but the layoff made it impossible. I know that my friends are planning a shower to help us with the few things we need. I know a second shower is tacky but the said they want to.

    2nd birthing class on Monday our hospital tour is tomorrow night... Tomorrow morning we get carpet put in upstairs so we can start putting the nursery together.  My mom and dad get her friday with the crib and the dresser (thanks to my sis) and I am picking the recliner/rocker up on friday morning.  Sunday is my shower... so after this weekend I hope that at least the nursery will be somewhat put together!

    We took our birthing class/hospital tour (it was a one day thing) a few weeks ago and have an infant care and CPR class next week.  DH has been painting the nursery and attached bathroom and the crib will be shipped next week - eek!  Our series of showers (there are three, which is a bit insane, but are families are in two different cities and we're in another) start in a few weeks. 

    I'm finally getting to where I can mentally accept this pregnancy, which is nice.  Passing my year mark for my loss helped with that.  I just felt like it was looming over me for the past few months. 

    I'm much more tired now, but am not sure if that's from pregnancy or because my iron is dropping.  I've been taking iron pills for about a week and other than upsetting my stomach, they don't seem to be doing much.  Does anyone know how long it takes for iron to kick in?  However, I've noticed that LO is more active in the last week or so and the belly is definitely growing, so he must be getting bigger.

    I am pretty much as lazy as can be with this pregnancy.  It's my second child though, so I don't have to worry about the birthing classes or the hospital tour or any of that (although we are doing some natural birth classes with our doula, need to talk to her about scheduling those). 

    I have bought a few things for her clothing-wise and her furniture has been ordered, but um... that's pretty much all I've done.  I suppose I should get my act together!
