Sad story on my mind today

This story came to me third hand at work yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it. My co-worker's SIL is the boss of the mother in this story and co-worker is friends with the family.

The mother was out of town to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday. I don't know how you pick up the pieces of your family after something like this happens.

We're all sending good thoughts that the 7 year old pulls through her injuries.
