I'm home from hospital.....update

Well I am home now. It has been a long week and I only feel slightly better then I did before surgery. My ob and urologist have decided to change my stent out in 6 weeks and then also try to break up the large stone that is now blocking my stent. I will need stent exchanges every 6 weeks or so and depending on what my kidney does my docs are talking about delivering Kennedy 4 weeks early.
I am just glad to be home, but I am on pain meds along with bladder meds, and now an antibiotic that I have to take until baby is born. Ob has me on modified bedrest until I see her next week, which I am freaking out about, my job isn't always the best with timeoff, and what is sad about that is I work for a hospital so you would think they would understand.
I will try to bump as much as possible, so please bare with me if I am mia for giving support. I just thank everyone who has been pulling for us, this has been very hard on my body, my baby and my family. Thank god that Kennedy has stayed very alert and strong, she has been moving sooooo much this week. Just pray for her through all of this that she pulls through healthy!!!

I am glad that you are in bed getting some rest...you deserve it and you need it! I guess it's not super great that you only feel mildly better from pre-surgery, so I hope that this modified bedrest really helps.
I am glad that sweet Kennedy is doing so well, she's a trooper!

You mention that you'd think a hospital would understand if you had to miss work for bedrest, in my experience, it's the opposite. I work in a hospital as well and I can't believe the crap they think I should be able to do at 30+w pg.
I hope all of these therapies work and bring you some relief quick!!!
