Dude. I swear Cecelia is drunk sometimes

in Parenting after a Loss

The girl can't sit up on her own yet. I mean, she can for a bit, but then she just falls flat on her face.  I can stand her up and she can hold on to the couch and whatnot, but the girl hates sitting.  Is she in the minority here?

    Once Collin learned to use his legs, he LOVES to stand. There for a while I was afraid something was wrong b/c he wouldn't stand or put weight on them until almost 5 months! Now if he's sitting, he'll use his legs to scootch himself out. He doesn't mind sitting but he'd rather stand too.

    Sophia doesn't either. She loves to stand, but isn't sitting w/o dumping over. I'm not worried

    She's fine.  My little guy didn't sit well unsupported until 8 months (or 7 if you give him his month of premie adjustment).

    DS didn't start sitting up on his own until he was at least 7 months.
