  I'm still looking, but I'm leaning towards organic since the baby will spend so much time on it.

  i have this mattress and it's great. it's nice and firm like it's supposed to be, but DS loves it and sleeps like a log when he's in his crib.

  I got a nice organic crib mattress at aBaby.com, made of 100 % organic latex fill and 100 % certified organic cotton cover for just under $100. It is available in custom sizes, too.
