Unfortunately, I can't post pictures from work but I do have some updates. Rebecca is counting! I was changing her diaper on Sunday and out of the blue she counted from three to ten. I gave her lots of praise and when I tried to get her to do it again she wouldn't do it. We had family over on Sunday and I told them about it but I'm sure they thought I was crazy that was until Monday night. I was reading a book with her on the couch and Doug was sitting on the other end of the couch and again out of the blue she started counting from three on up. We do a lot of counting but it is so neat to see that it is sinking in. She is growing up way too fast!
Michael is doing great. We put him in his exersaucer for the first time last night. At first he wasn't sure what to think of it but he really tired himself out. Only finished half of his bottle but still slept through the night.
I need a new picture of Emily! She's really starting to evolve in her talking, from more declarative statements to a conversation. Yeaserday in the car she asked me to "Clip my toenail" and I told her I would do it when we got home. She asked a few more times and then proceeded to tell me that she got it and it was in her mouth.

I have to upload some new pictures to my computer, so I'll try and remember to do that tonight. Annabelle has been talking up a storm. She runs into the house, calling for the dogs, finds them pats them on the heads. Monday night we were trying to decide what to have for dinner. I was naming foods and she was repeat. She wanted tacos. Now she walks around the house saying taco, taco, taco. Last night she called Roscoe and stinky taco (that's one of his nn!).
Ella got a tricycle this weekend. I thought she was a little young for it and we were planning to give it to her later this summer - ummmm no. She saw it in the back of the basement, started yelling "my bike, my bike" and that was pretty much that. She's pedaled all over the neighborhood for the last few days - with very hot Mommy and Daddy trailing behind. On Saturday, she pedaled up hill all the way to the school/playground up the street. Its not "far" but its a good 5 minute walk. I'm super impressed - and tired already for the summer! Now, I know why people live on cul-de-sacs!
She also totally got herself dressed this morning - first time she's done that. The only thing she needed help with was getting her shirt over head. She did everythign else - PJs and pull up off, shorts and Tshirt on, etc. And, she's getting better at following directions. Last night, I told her to wash her hands before dinner and she totally just did it - no discussion, no delays. Just stopped playing, washed her hands and came to the table - it was awesome!!
Bailey is just over 5 weeks and is doing really well! The past 4 nights she has slept 5 hour stretches which has been great! She wakes, eats and goes right back to sleep for another 2-4 hours. She has been an excellent sleeper since the beginning but 5 hours is a new level of awesome!
We got our first real smiles this past weekend and she's starting to smile and coo and "talk" a lot more. It's adorable.
She gets fussy in the evenings and it's difficult since she hardly ever cries to have a baby cry for an hour or two. Fortunately, the pacifier has helped but I am scared to create an addict!
I can't believe I am 14w3d already. I had another appointment last week at 13w3d and unfortunately DH didn't get to come with me. He got really busy at work and I told him not to worry about it because I didn't think I would be having an u/s. Well I was surprised when the other doctor in the practice put the goo (is there a technical term?) on my belly and let me hear the HB. I texted DH after I left and told him and he was upset that he didn't get to hear it with me.
I really wasn't sure how he would be with this whole process. Part of me thought he would be freaked out and not want to see/hear/witness any of the appointments throughout the 40w. I mean he is in lots of ways a manly man. Under the vehicle on many days sweating, bleeding, working on the Jeep. Also he loves to four wheel, shoot guns, play video games, etc. On the other hand he will sit with his niece and do tea time with her. So I am learning a lot about the man he is and the man he is becoming. And it really warms my heart and makes me tear up!
18w2d! It has gone pretty quickly, and I can't believe I'm almost half way there! My last appointment was at 17w1d, and I heard the HB again. It was awesome to hear since other than getting bigger and being hungry and out of breath a lot, many of the previous pregnancy "symptoms" had disappeared. I had a normal AFP screening last week, which is reassuring. Lastly, my anatomy scan is in 3 weeks (21w1d), and the whole family (both sides) is very excited to know that Baby is healthy and to learn the sex. No team green for us (hopefully).
Most people contend that I'm "not showing" although I've gained about 10 lbs, and am even having trouble rigging together my regular pants with bella bands or hair ties. If you knew what I looked like before, it's almost insulting to say that it's not noticeable! I have been heavier previously though, so I can see where a stranger wouldn't be able to tell...I just pretty much look fat. I'm hoping for the true baby bump to appear anytime in the next couple of weeks. I *think* I've felt a rare kick or two, but I'm not totally convinced. I'm excited to soon be moving into regularly feeling movement.
Evie can make a bunch of animal sounds, but the cutest by far is that for dog she sticks her tongue out and pants.
She can get herself on and off her little ride on toy and she cruises around with it all the time.
She loves books and has favorites. I pulled one she hasn't seen in a while out and started to read it. She took it out of my hand, threw it over her shoulder, crawled over picked out "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" from a stack of books and handed it to me. LOL.

28 weeks tomorrow...holy cow, I'm going to be a momma. We finally started clearing out the second bedroom. Tomorrow I'm going home to AL for a week and a half to see my best friend (who is also pregnant), see my family, and have my baby shower.
Little boy is moving even more which I didn't think was possible. If he's this active now, I'm scared for after he's born! DH finally felt him kick and was surprised how hard he kicks.
Time is flying by! Oh, and this heat has got to go. I only have 3 pairs of shorts and I refuse to buy more so I'm constantly doing laundry. Smart idea to go to AL now, huh? 90 degrees plus here I come!
27 weeks today and I feel like a house. Some people say I look huge and other say I look small, so I have no idea where I fit in. I wasn't doing too well with the heat at first (yesterday I was miserable) but today is much better. I guess I'm starting to slowly adjust, but honestly this heat is ridiculous whether you're pregnant or not.
The Cheat (what we call the baby) is moving a lot and DH never really gets tired of feeling him/her kick or watching my belly move.
Nursery progress has been going really well, but now we're in a holding pattern until we get new carpet in the next 6 weeks or so and until we can finally get rid of the bed in August (we have friends visiting us then).
Bump Pic today at 27 weeks. Pardon the crotch grab, I was trying to show off my belly
bumping from my phone. please pardon any typos and missing punctuation
Thanks! It's actually not a maternity dress. I just got it out of the regular sized clothes section at Kohl's. It was on sale this past weekend for like $35 so I decided to go for it. The material is so stretchy and flowy, it really is like a dream to wear.
Here's a link to the dress. It also comes in black which I might go back and get. The only con is that it is very long. I'm 5'4'' and with just regular flip flops on it definitely is on the floor. I wore 3inch wedges today and it was the perfect length.

DS is almost 3 months! I cannot and did not ever think I could love someone as much as I do him. He is the incredible. Here are some newer pictures. Sorry if they are so big!
Thanks ladies! I just got off the phone with my mom and apparently my dad said to her yesterday (we had lunch so he saw me in my whale like form in that dress) "Heidi is going to have a really really big baby." Gee thanks Dad.

Sean is doing great....he tries to sing the alphabet song and gets the tune right but mixes up the letters....lol. also he can count things to three which is really cute. Knows all his colors now too.
I am finally feeling this baby move some! Stupid anterior placenta! But in the past week I have felt some definite squirming in there, which is always fun.
DD is almost 2 weeks old and we're still adjusting. She isn't on a regular sleep pattern during the day, which reaks havoc on DH's sleeping since he works nights. For the most part she is a good baby so I can't complain. We go tomorrow for her two week appointment and I'm hoping for a good weight gain!
24w today! It seems to be going slowly and quickly at the same time. I had a dr's appointment today, and she felt all around and said baby seems to be growing right on track.
I have to take my GD test in two weeks (Boo ) and then after that she wants to start me on the every two weeks' appt schedule, which I thought didn't happen until 28 weeks (I went in today thinking she'd say Okay we'll see you in a month for your GD test and then we'll do every two weeks). Other than that, I found out I have bad acid reflux.
DD is turning into quite a toddler. It's crazy how fast it happens. She moos when she sees a cow, talks to herself all the time in the morning...she is often found babbling and reading a book in her crib, she kisses us constantly, and is always on the go and curious about everything.
