Losing Hair on top

My lo's hair has fallen out in the front.. he is 5 weeks old... Has this happened to anyone? He has the hair in the back , but from his forehead back, no hair.. (along with cradle cap) I just want it to grow back.. He looks like an old man ;) Not sure why it is falling out of the top part and not the back where he lays...

    my son will be 5 weeks on Saturday and he just started losing it on the top but just the sides. My DH had this exact amount of hair (straight black) and was bald by 2 months. It came back slowly and came in blonde and curly.

    DS is now 17 months, but at one time his hair thinned everywhere except a small patch on the back of his head. It's normal for babies to lose hair. Our solution was keeping DS's hair trimmed/buzzed very short.

    Same thing happened to my DS! I felt awful since it all seemed to fall out after I washed his hair, it was like I had washed it off :( He absolutely looked like some sort of stressed out business man for a few weeks. Now the new hair is growing in blond while the old hair is red.

    It's totally normal.  My DD was born with a head full of black hair and it all fell out and grew back in blonde.  I had no idea that babies lose their hair, or that it could come in a different color.  I'm hoping my son keeps his dark hair like his Daddy's.  =)

    Yep, LO is almost 5 weeks and has total male pattern baldness. He looks so silly completely bald on top with a long ring of hair around the sides! We're hoping it grows back in curly so we'll see. :)

    My oldest DD lost it all

    the middle DD didnt lose any

    so far Olivia hasnt lost any and its growing longer

    It's normal unfortunately. Dean has a receding hairline/mullet look going on. I am so sad. I hope it grows back soon. I miss his fuzzy little head!

    LO has a receding hairline on top too.... and a spot about the size of a quarter where an old man would bald. Poor thing. I hope it just does whatever it's going to do sooner than later.
