We switched cold turkey. I stopped the bottle and the formula on the same day. It was a much easier change than I expected. She loved the milk and didn't miss the bottle at all. I am so glad I did it that way.
We transitioned at the advise of our doctor - each day, replaced one more ounce of formula in each bottle with milk. Only took 5 days, no problems. I'm sure many kids can go cold turkey, just depends on their tolerance.
We did. I let Logan try WCM a couple of times around 11 months (just a few sips) out of curiosity, and he seemed to like it. At 12 months we finished up our last can of formula and then switched to WCM. It was very easy for us and he took to it right away.
