New to The Bump

Hi Ladies, I love the support you give on this website!  I need it too...We have had 2 unsuccessful IUIs so far.  I took this month off to regroup and enjoy a friends wedding.  I was blind sided by my best friend taking me out to dinner to tell me that she is 9 weeks pregnant! They only tried for a month! I am so happy for her, but am discourged.  We will try for our 3rd IUI next month.  Doc says everything is fine with me, and DH is a little low, but nothing they are alarmed with. Then what is the problem!?!?!

Re: New to The Bump

  • That is the question we're all asking!  I'm so sorry you have to be here, but welcome.  You will get a lot of support here!  I hope your next cycle is IUI#3 (and sorry about being blindsided by your BFF - never a cool situation)  Good Luck!!!

  • Welcome. Getting news of friends being PG hurts everytime and especially when it is an easy "accomplishment" for others when we struggle.  We can do everything "right" and it still doesn't work.  It's a tough pill to swallow.  I'm about to do my final IUI tomorrow and Thurs. Maybe the back to back one will be the key to success.

  • I am so sorry you have had 2 BFN IUI's.  I hope 3rd time's a charm.  It is harder, I believe, when everything looks good but still nothing.  IF doesn't make sense.  GL this cycle!

  • Welcome to the board...the ladies here are completely awesome!    I completely understand how frustrating it is to have "everything be fine" and still not be KU.  I try to focus on the odds for IUI and hope that my turn to be lucky comes around soon.  So, here's to lucky number three for you!

Agreed as usual with everyone. That is the question we all have with no answer in sight. No one knows how everything can be "perfect" but still not work at the same time. Very frustrating. I know being blindsided is never fun with pegnancies, especially when it comes easily for them. And the feelings attached are conflicting and sometimes difficult to navigate. Hang in there and hopefully your next cycle is your sticky baby cycle :)
