I was just reading the post below about breastfeeding after a reduction. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me how much tissue you had removed. (Mine was only two years and I had over a pound of tissue removed from each breast.)

    I had 3 pounds taken from each breast. My breast tissue was really dense, with I think contributed to the larger volume being taken out. I think part of the issue I had with breastfeeding was also that they had to do a lot of reshaping on my breasts and nipples. I had my reduction in 2001, too, and the technique has probably changed and advanced since then.
