Compressed feedings

We are starting Emily on compressed feedings today, 25.5mLs over 2hrs instead of 3. I'm a little nervous about how she will handle it but excited too. They are also re-introducing epogen (sp) for her anemia. That part kinda sucks. But otherwise I'm happy. She is now 2lbs 14oz, 14.5". Yay "chubby" babies LOL

    Yay for chubby babies! I'm no help about the compressed feedings because DD has always been gavaged.  But I'm sending T&P that Emily handles it well!!!

    I bet she'll do great.  It is scary though.  They moved Gabe from 30 mins to 60mins and I am nervous for when they move him back to 30 mins.

    Hooray for a big step forward!  Hope she does great!

    (My son got epogen shots too....I agree they stink, but they did seem to help him)

    My babies took to the bolus feeds really well. Emily will do awesome!!!!
