Has anyone else baby had ther lo TSH/Free T4 numbers come back high (hypothyroidism)? Our lo has had higher numbers for his TSH, but his T4 has gone back within range. UGH, and of course the dr is out this afternoon so she wont be calling be back till tomorrow morning to see what the plan of action is.
So if your lo has had higher numbers please tell me it will be ok & what your Dr's plan was.
TIA.

My baby does not have hypothyroidism, but I have had it my whole life. I have taken synthroid for it my whole life (and will keep taking it). It hasn't caused me any problems at all, and I've lived my life just like any other person (aside from taking a pill everyday...which I never knew otherwise, so it's never been something I've ever thought twice about). I don't view it as a big deal at all. Knowing what I know about it and that it hasn't changed my life, in all honesty, I wouldn't worry if my little one had it either.
Thank you, you make me feel a lot better. Cause I'm sitting here having a mini freak out!
