i think it's normal for your discharge to become heavier as you get closer...i remember having more torwards the end with my 1st pregnancy. i'm not sure about color...maybe you are losing your mucus plug?
I actually just called my Dr. about a similar thing yesterday. I explained the discharge to the medical assistant (the Dr. wasn't available), and she said it's completely normal and doesn't mean anything. I'm just going to be leaking a lot of discharge that I may not have had earlier (or more than usual). She said to only worry if it's bloody or pink. However, I would recommend calling your OB anyways and describing the consistency/color just to be sure about your own situation. Your Dr. may have a different approach than mine.

this. just read about this and it can be totally normal. discharge may change a bit and get heavier at the end of pg. but bleeding is not so i agree to just call the doc and describe what you have.
I just had a child birthing class and they said to look out for mild cramping along with a "bloodly show" which is pink or brown tinged discharge. Then if the mucus plug comes out you know that the cervix has begun dialating. It just means that labor might be coming in a few weeks...Very helpful, right? I hate not knowing the date! I hate surprises! haha -- good luck to you!
