Trouble TTC

Waiting.....seems like that is all my life is about now. Anyone else?

Waiting for the meds, the next cycle, the 2ww, ovulation, etc. I feel like I am in a constant state of waiting and that it will never be over. Right now I am waiting for the nurse to call back to schedule my monitoring appointment. Called them at 9am, it is now 4pm. Ugh. Thinking I will be one of "those patients" and call them back asking what's up.

  • Sorry you are in the holding pattern too. The only good thing of this is at least we do get monitoring appts ( even if they drag thier feet to call back)

TTGP without the RE was way worst of that even with charting I had no idea what was going on if things are working right in me.

Hopefully you too will get a take home baby soon!

  • I just wrote something just like this in my blog. Other than the constant BFNs, I feel like waiting is one of the worst parts. Just sitting there not being able to do anything. It sucks big time. I'm sorry you've been inducted into the waiting club, but hopefully this will be your only big wait!!

  • I totally understand and feel the same way.  To make it worse, it's always in the back of my mind that if I got pregnant this cycle I would wait until x-date to tell people, then CD1 comes and it starts all over again, and again, and again. UGH.

  • I completely understand.  I had how my life has now revolved around our IUI cycles.  If this IUI doesn't work, we are taking next month off just to clear our minds and get back to "normal" for a month.  GL this cycle.  I hope this is your last!

  • In addition to waiting, I totally stress over WHEN the next round will start and how it may interfere with work and other plans. I find myself constantly counting out what day I '"should" start monitoring or when the actual procedure "might" be way in advance to see what possible problems may arise. It's exhausting!!

YES, that is what we were just talking about too.  We have tickets to fly to Chicago next month for my Grandma's 90th birthday.  We bought them through Southwest so we could change with no penalty if we get KU on this cycle (yes I know I could fly, but that is another issue, lol).  But now I am wondering if we should just cancel the trip period so we don't have to miss a cycle in case it doesn't work.

I want to be there for my Grandma and see all my family.  I miss Chicago terribly, but yet I feel like we have been waiting so long.  Luckily my Grandma is TOTALLY fine with whatever we decide.  She was just here visiting a few months ago in fact.

I feel like I can't make plans at all for anything.  *sigh*  The clinic called though, my first follie check is next Tuesday at 10:15 am.  I voiced my concerns about how I usually O by day 10 or 11 but she said the Clomid should extend that.  I thought it only extended the luteal phase, but not sure.  Here's hoping she is right.   Nervous about taking the Clomid tonight, stupid anxiety issues.  LOL!
