...between working and SAH.

I got a job! 20 hours a week, professional (meaning that it requires the MS I am still paying for), and PERMANENT. I am so excited. This is something that I never expected to find at this point in my career. I thought for sure that I would have to take a bunch of project (term) positions before finding something like this.

The pay isn't great, but it covers daycare and travel expenses. I won't really be bringing in any money, but will be saving us some money because we won't be sending Lily to preschool anymore. Also, after 4 months I will be able to accrue vacation and sick days! This is not common for part time jobs in my field!

I will be working 3 full days right now, but when Lily is older and in elementary school they said I could space it out to 4 days a week so I could be home when she gets off the bus.

I really was missing work and have been worrying about the future of my career. I am so excited to get back to work, but also still be able to spend a large chunk of my time with Lily. I really feel like I have hit the jackpot here.
